Make your own candle design
The create-your-own party candle design take about three to four hours, give or take depending on how many candles each guest wants to make. Time allows for each guest to make about two candles. The way it works is each guest selects as many shapes and letters as they like, which are made from gel wax. They then stick the gel shapes to the inside of the glass in any design they can come up with, kind of like creating stained glass.
An employee then fills their container with wax, essentially making their artwork permanent. It takes about 30 minutes for the wax to set. The guests can either wait to take it with them or the host can arrange for them to pick it up at a later date. The waiting time is usually the best time to sing happy birthday and cut the cake if it’s a birthday party.
Home party requirements: A power outlet and counter space is required. For those that are concerned about hot wax in their homes, the melted wax is simply hydrogenated soy bean oil and will clean up with dish soap and hot water or a good greaser.Also, since soy wax has a low melting point (about 100 degrees which is a bit under how hot tap water will get) there is no risk of any burned skin by the wax.
