What’s the importance of candles at weddings?

During the wedding the lighting of the unity candle it is a very meaningful expression that symbolize the unity of a couple hearts and lives joined together. Some couples choose to light the unity candle at the same time a song is being sung with no actions given.

At the time of lightning the unity candles , the couple will go toward the unity candles and stand on either side of the candle holders. Typically, two taper candles are placed on any of the side of the larger pillar candle or unity candle. The taper candles symbolize the lives of the Bride and Groom as individuals just before to their union in marriage. All-together the couple will pick up their individual candles and at the same time, they will light the center unity candle. Then they will blow out their own candles, representing the end of their separate lives.
